Accident Scene Management Inc. (ASMI) is offering a private course for NYMSTF members and supporters.
This course will teach you the basics of what to do if you are present at the scene of a motorcycle accident. Topics include: securing the scene, precautions, how/when to move rider, anatomy / mechanisms of injury, how to aid EMS, jaw thrust rescue breathing, controlling bleeding, shock, spine immobilization, assess box‐of‐life injuries, first aid (animal bites, hypo-/hyperthermia)
This will be an all-day class on Saturday, April 14 2012.
The class is held at 200 Kisco Ave, Mt Kisco NY, 10549 -- about an hour north of the city by bike/car or a 10 minute walk from the Metro North station.
Cost is $55 and will be available to TF members and supporters only. This is over a 25% discount on the regular class and a real value - if you have ever considered taking a first response course, take this one.

Refunds A Refund less a $10.00 cancellation fee will be issued if you cancel (up to two weeks before the class) for any reason. A $20.00 cancellation fee will be assessed for cancellations occurring within two weeks (14 days) of the class date. The option for a full refund in the form of a gift certificate for a future class with the same instructor is offered for any cancelation. There is no refund for no shows. A full refund will be issued if ASMI cancels for any reason.
