An NYMSTF exclusive!

Accident Scene Management Inc. (ASMI) is offering a private course for NYMSTF members and supporters.

This course will teach you the basics of what to do if you are present at the scene of a motorcycle accident. Topics include: securing the scene, precautions, how/when to move rider, anatomy / mechanisms of injury, how to aid EMS, jaw thrust rescue breathing, controlling bleeding, shock, spine immobilization, assess box‐of‐life injuries, first aid (animal bites, hypo-/hyperthermia)

This will be an all-day class on Saturday, April 14 2012.
The class is held at 200 Kisco Ave, Mt Kisco NY, 10549 -- about an hour north of the city by bike/car or a 10 minute walk from the Metro North station.

Cost is $55 and will be available to TF members and supporters only. This is over a 25% discount on the regular class and a real value - if you have ever considered taking a first response course, take this one.

That's great! I'm really looking forward to taking this class. My friends who have taken it in the past got a lot out of it.
