http://nymstf.org/CheckpointFeed.asp Doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Is there no more alerts feed?

I'm guessing by the 404 page and the lack of response here, that this alert system is now defunct.

Hi, adelie, the alert system isn't defunct. But we've updated our website and I think the RSS went offline. You can still get the alerts via twitter (which can send texts to your phone). I'll see if I can grab a tech person to chime in here with more info about the RSS.

Tech Person in da' house.
The RSS feed is still there but slipped between the cracks when we instituted our new web site. :muutt:

Please use apps.nymstf.org/CheckpointFeed.asp to reach our CAS RSS feed now. Mostly the same URL as it was before - just prefix the site host name with "apps" and a period as shown in bold.

Sorry for any inconvenience!

Thanks. I see the new feed. It's getting warmer out which means the checkpoints are going to start to pop up again I feel. I'm 100 % legal but like to avoid the hassle.

It seems that the links are all still broken. Following the RSS brings you back to a 404 page.

Also There was no twitter alert ( as of noon this morning) for this morning's alerts.

The RSS link at http://nymstf.org/cas works fine for me. So does typing in the new feed URL directly:

http://apps.nymstf.org/checkpointfeed.asp

Perhaps your brower isn't seeing the updated version of the web page? Try [Ctrl]-[F5] to force a re-load. Perhaps your device's DNS cache needs to be flushed or your ISP's DNS is hanging onto outdated info. If you can do a DNS lookup on apps.nymstf.org let me know what it gives you.

As for Twitter I was informed this morning that it is not working. I'll be chasing that down this afternoon. Sorry if that caused anyone to be victimized by Officer Kempinski this morning. I'll post updates on the Twitter progress here.
